CQR FireBrand Fire Cable has been independantly tested and approved by LPCB to meet with BS standards, BS5839-1:2002 26.2d, BS8434-1:2003 30, BS EN50200:2000 PH30.
CQR FireBrand Cable is manufactured for the UK market using the latest technology, materials and manufacturing equipment. All processes and materials are checked constantly throughout the manufacturing procedure to ensure consistant quality and reliability. All cables we manufacture come with date & time of manufacture along with a unique quality assurance test & batch number on each reel of cable. CQR FireBrand Cable has been designed to give the highest level of data protection for analogue addressable fire systems. This cable is flexible to work with but stays where you put it, giving much shorter install times and costs. In addition to addressable fire systems, this can also be used for conventional systems, sounder circuits,
emergency lighting, air conditioning, automatic lift doors and computer control systems where low smoke/ fume and zero halogen cable is required.
The CQR FireBrand Cable is available in 2, 3 or 4 core combinations all with CPC (circuit protection conductor). All cores are solid with exception of 2.5mm and 4mm which is multi-stranded (7). The Sheath is made from a High performance, Thermoplastic Zero Halogen, Low Smoke compound (BS7629 LTS3). 500m reels and other special lengths available upon request. Red Sheath is standard but White and other colours are also available upon request.
